Musikfest, the largest free music festival in the nation, is back with more than 500 performances scheduled for the Bethlehem, Pa., event’s 10-day run.

Big names including ZZ Top (Aug. 1), All-American Rejects (Aug. 2), Jason Derulo (Aug. 3), Sheryl Crow (Aug. 4), The Moody Blues (Aug. 5), Steely Dan (Aug. 6), The Avett Brothers (Aug. 7), Alan Jackson (Aug. 8), Weezer (Aug. 9) and Keith Urban (Aug. 10) will play the fest’s Sands Steel Stage, among the 300-plus acts set to perform Aug. 1-10.
But while concerts on the Sands Steel Stage are ticketed events, the rest of the fest, now in its 31st year, is free.

That means performances by hundreds of artists such as Sam Hunt, Postmodern Jukebox, Puddles, Rick Vito, Mucca Pazza, Curly Taylor and Zydeco Trouble, Carolyn Wonderland, Southern Hospitality, and Black Violin will be hosted at various venues at no charge.
Musikfest is presented by the nonprofit ArtsQuest, which works to bring new life to the area surrounding Bethlehem’s former steel plant by transforming the industrial site into a destination for music, arts, and festivals.
