Bass Kitchen, Beatport and Trance Arena are the branded stages at Chicago’s Spring Awakening Music Festival, which takes over Soldier Field June 12-14. 

Zomboy tops the Bass Kitchen stage lineup that also includes Bro Safari, Brillz, Figure and Grand Theft.  Meanwhile, over at the Beatport stage you’ll find Jamie Jones along with MK, Cajmere, Justin Martin and others.  Paul Van Dyk is on the Trance Arena stage lineup that includes Cosmic Gate, Andrew Rayel, Myon & Shane 54, and Ilan Bluestone.

When Disco Donnie spoke with Pollstar, the EDM promoter still hadn’t announced the lineup for the one-day event titled “Something Wonderful” at Dallas’ Cotton Bowl.

Now the April 18 event has a big and robust list of acts including Tiësto along with Zeds Dead, Carnage, Cedric Gervais, Ummet Ozcan, Bro Safari, and Keys N Krates.  The festival’s special guest is DVBBS.

Also appearing are Ansolo, Brillz, Mako, Mr. Carmack, Slander, Snails, Surain and Troyboi.

The Mavericks, Neko Case, Guster, Ani DiFranco and Bela Fleck & Abigail Washburn are among the notables appearing at Clearwater’s Great Hudson River Revival at Croton Point Park in Croton on Hudson, N.Y., June 20-21.

The festival will also host The Blind Boys Of Alabama, Angélique Kidjo, Shelby Lynn, Bettye Lavette and others.

Music legend Pete Seeger started the festival 40 years ago as an annual fundraiser for the Hudson River Sloop Clearwater, an environmental organization founded by the musician/activist.

This year’s lineup will also field The Pine Hill Project feat. Richard Shindell & Lucy Kaplansky, The Felice Brothers, The Lone Bellow, Todd Snider, Toshi Reagon & Big Lovely, Joseph Arthur, The Klezmatics, Tom Paxton and many more. Other attractions include jugglers, roving artists, a children’s area and a river beach combing.

Commanding the Naeba Ski Resort in Niigata, Japan, July 24-26, the Fuji Rock Festival has unveiled its lineup.  As in past years, the list of artists seems to be endless with organizers mixing the best international acts with Japan’s finest.

So far, the lineup includes Foo Fighters, Muse, The Bohicas, FKA Twigs, Galactic feat. Macy Gray, Galantis, Gesu No Kiwami Otome, Happy Mondays, Jenny Lewis, Johnny Marr, Motorhead, Ride, Ryan Adams, Todd Rundgren, Twenty One Pilots and others.
