Built To Spill On The Left Coast

05:01 PM Tuesday 1/5/16 | |

Not only will Built To Spill play a number of West Coast cities in support of the indie guitar band’s  latest album, but the Doug Martsch-led group will play multiple nights in most markets.

It’s actually easier to mention the cities that will only host Built To Spill for single evenings, specifically Oregon towns Portland and Eugene.  While San Francisco, San Diego and Seattle will receive two-night visits, Los Angeles has three nights with Martsch & Co.

Built To Spill is touring in support of Untethered Moon, produced by Martsch and Quazi’s Sam Coomes.  The album features Martsch playing all the guitars plus new band members Steve Gere on drums and Jason Albertini on bass.

The tour comes before Built To Spill’s trek to Australia for a March run  that includes stops in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.  Here’s the routing:

Feb. 5-6 – Seattle, Wash., The Showbox
Feb. 7 – Portland, Ore., McMenamins Crystal Ballroom (Sabertooth Music Festival)
Feb. 8 – Eugene, Ore., WOW Hall
Feb. 9-10 – San Francisco, Calif., Slim’s
Feb. 11-13 – Los Angeles, Calif., Echo
Feb. 14-15 – San Diego, Calif., The Casbah
