Although no lineup has been announced for this year’s iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas, you can count on the return of the annual event’s Daytime Village.
Sept. 23-24 is when iHeartRadio presents two days of music. Today, the folks at iHeartMedia are singing the praises of its Daytime Village.
Located across from the Luxor Hotel, the Daytime Village will host established artists and up-and-coming performers in a venue that also features fan zones and interactive experiences by iHeartRadio’s brand partners. First acts to be announced for the Daytime Village are Alessia Cara and Sam Hunt.

The “Macy’s iHeartRadio Rising Star” talent hunt is also returning in 2016. Beginning in May, fans will be able to vote for their favorite new artists. Once you cast your ballot your name will be entered into a contest and the chance to win a trip to Las Vegas for the IHeartRadio Music Festival. The act winning the “iHeartRadio Rising Star” honor will be the opening act at the festival.
“The ‘Macy’s iHeartRadio Rising Star’ contest continues to be a major highlight at the festival and a great way to expose up-and-coming talent in a big way,” said iHeartMedia president of national sales, Jeff Howard. “This partnership is extremely unique and together with Macy’s we have the ability to provide these emerging artists with national exposure and continue to support music discovery with our audiences.”
