The spring headliners were KISS and Def Leppard along with EvanescenceBuckcherry, and The Flaming Lips plus others. A posting on the festival’s website says September’s Moonstone will feature “available acts on the original bill.”

Tickets purchased for the original dates will be honored on the new dates. Those who are unable to attend can obtain refunds via points of purchase.

An investigation by local law enforcement and the FBI are in progress concerning the cyber fraud which also involved other businesses.

“At this time, we need to focus our efforts on this investigation,” Moonstone founder Paul Lovett said.  “Because of this situation, we know our attention to the inaugural Moonstone might suffer and we want to ensure an amazing experience for everyone who attends the festival in September.”
