Pilgrimage Unveils Dailies

03:01 PM Tuesday 6/28/16 | |

Before you make the journey to Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival, you’ll need to know which days Beck, Daryl Hall & John Oates, Grace Potter, and Jason Isbell are taking the stage. Fortunately, the fest just announced its daily lineup and single-day ticket onsale.

The second annual Pilgrimage returns to the Park At Harlinsdale Farm in Franklin, Tenn., Sept. 24-25. Organizers promise the venue will be transformed “into an oasis of music, food and culture set against the natural amphitheaters and vistas of this former walking horse farm.” Bring your appetite because “the region’s best food and drink will be on display.”

Other notable artists include Violent Femmes, Cake, Kacey Musgraves, Shakey Graves, and The Arcs.

Attendees will be treated to “Pilgri-mashups,” with one-of-a-king musical collaborations.

Plus, you might discover a local favorite at Kimbro’s Pickin’ Parlor stage, which includes performances from The Blackfoot Gypsies, Daphne & The Mystery Machines, Anthony Adams & The Nite Owls, Colin Elmore, Emma Hern, Grace Askey, and The Roosevelts.

Music fans are encouraged to bring the whole family to the event. Kids under 10 get in free when accompanied by an adult. Over at the Little Pilgrim’s Family Stage, little ones will enjoy performances both Saturday and Sunday by Ralph’s World, The Happy Racers, Tom Mason and the Blue Buccaneers, Mr. Steve and more. Activities include a painting wall, drum circles, hip hop rhyming workshop, breakdancing demonstrations, a musical petting zoo, and special cameos by main stage acts.
