Wizards Of Winter Add Dates, TSO Singer

05:01 PM Wednesday 11/9/16 | |

As the time for holiday magic approaches, The Wizards of Winter has invited vocalist Guy LeMonnier from Trans-Siberian Orchestra along for its upcoming North America tour and tacked on a few more dates to the routing.

The Wizards’ routing currently sticks to the regional Northeast and Midwest for a solid month, from Nov. 23 in Syracuse, N.Y., to Dec. 22 in Hagerstown, Md. The new dates are Dec. 3 in Scranton, Penn., Dec. 7 in Parsippany, N.J., and Dec. 22 in Hagerstown, Md.

LeMonnier collaborated with The Wizards of Winter on the albums The Wizards of Winter and The Magic of Winter.

He said: “I had the fortune of meeting The Wizards of Winter in 2013, and I found a group of musicians and friends that quickly became family. The excitement on that stage for their craft and their love for the audience is awe-inspiring and I’m thrilled to be back with the pack to rock the nation this holiday season.”

The Wizards of Winter draws many stylistic influence from the genre-defining Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and has a few more of that group’s old members. The Wizards also recently added TSO’s former vocalist Peter Shaw to the mix, along with Ted Nugent’s old backing bassist Greg Smith and genre vets Shawna Mehall and Jenn Hamilton.
