Primavera Sound returns to Barcelona May 31 through June 4. Performances are held at various venues, with the Parc del Forum hosting the largest parts of the program. The Raval neighborhood is the place to be for the festival’s free attractions.

Plus, organizers have booked Mac DeMarco, Run The Jewels, Flying Lotus, The Magnetic Fields, Death Grips, Descendents, Angel Olsen, Teenage Fanclub, Grandaddy, The Afghan Whigs, Against Me!, and Whitney.

Special performances include Seu Jorge playing his take on David Bowie songs featured in “The Life Aquatic” and The Zombies showing off Odessey & Oracle in honor of the album’s 50th anniversary.

We’ve still waiting on an official word from Coachella organizers, but Consequence Of Sound says that its source has the insider info about the three headliners.

CoS says that the three big names are Beyoncé, Radiohead and Kendrick Lamar.

The music site notes that Radiohead previously headlined the festival twice before. Lamar took the stage twice in 2012 (including making an appearance with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg) and showed up during Ice Cube’s set this year. Beyoncé made surprise appearances in 2010 and 2014.
