Dustin Kensrue and Andy Hull Team Up For Southern Headline Run

The run opens in Louisville, Ky., March 22 and ends at White Oak Music Hall in Houston March 30. All of the dates are in the Regional South, including stops in Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama and Louisiana.

Kensrue recently released the two-track, 7-inch record More Thoughts that Float On A Different Blood, featuring covers of tunes from Mumford & Sons and Imogen Heap. That is a follow-up from his 2016 Thoughts That Float On A Different Blood, which is live recording of his acoustic performances.

Fun fact about Kensrue: He was formerly Director of Worship for Mars Hill megachurch in Bellevue, Wash., but he eventually left, criticizing “man-made hierarchies” underpinning the church’s leadership structure.

Andy Hull most recently wrote the music for the 2016 film “Swiss Army Man” with his Manchester Orchestra bandmate Robert McDowell. That music also features vocals from actors like Daniel Radcliffe and Paul Dano.

Here is the plan:

March 22 – Louisville, Ky., Mercury Ballroom
March 23 – Nashville, Tenn., Mercy Lounge
March 24 – Macon, Ga., Cox Capitol Theatre
March 25 – Birmingham, Ala., Saturn
March 26 – Memphis, Tenn., Hi-Tone Cafe
March 28 – Baton Rouge, La., Varsity Theatre
March 29 – Dallas, Texas, Trees
March 30 – Houston, Texas, White Oak Music Hall

The fan club presale is on now, and the general can get tickets on Feb. 10. Learn more about the artists at DustinKensrue.com and AndyIdeas.Tumblr.com
