It was great having Phish back after almost three years and they did not disappoint the sellout crowd in Denver. From the opener, "Runaway Jim," to the two encores, "NICU" and "Mexican Cousin," the entire audience stood as one from the floor up to the very top of the Pepsi Center. Relying on a very simple light show, Phish did not fail to entertain. Old favorites such as "The Squirming Coil," "YEM," and "Birds of a Feather" were mixed in with a few new numbers such as "Thunderhead." To close the second set the audience was seranaded with "The Lion Sleeps Tonight." This was a total (and delightful) fun way to end the set. All I can say is that hopefully these guys won't take as long a break next time from touring. Even though, I must say it did seem to reenergize them. Don't miss them if they tour again this year!

This was the best concert I have been to in the past 2 years. Phish rocked Greensboro with a vengeance. It was apparently the largest crowd that Greensboro Coliseum has had in about twenty years. Perk of the show: - During the Encore Trey and Gordon start jumping on mini trampolines while playing. -At the end of the second set, all four artists came to the front of the stage and sand Carolina (an old barber quartet kind of song), incredible to say the least. -Page came out to sing Lawn Boy during the first set. -During the encore, the band covered Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Proud Mary" acapella as the lights in the coliseum began to roll like a gian t wheel. -Basically the entire show was a huge light stick war with Trey catching a few sticks and throwing them back to the audience. -Incredible versions of Wilson, Piper, and 2001.
