I drove from just outside of Boise, ID to Ridgefield, WA (about 7 hours) to see Pearl Jam and Ben Harper. Although I like Ben Harper, I was really looking forward to Pearl Jam. They played about 26-28 songs in the 2 hour time frame, most of their newer stuff, but they did play Evenflow, Daughter, Not For You, Black, Once, and Why Go Home. I am not as big of a fan of their newer stuff, but it was a great concert. Eddie Vedder sounds just as great as he did back in the early 90's, and it's awesome that the whole band has stuck together this long. They even did a song or two with Ben Harper, which was great. Overall great concert, worth the $30 ticket and the crappy lawn seating, the 30 degree temperature, and the 400+ mile drive. Highly recommend!!

This was a special show. Pearl Jam was co-headlining with Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers. Because of this instead of playing a 2+ hour show they were only able to play about an hour and a half. But instead of cutting down the setlist they decided to play everything at breakneck speed. It was an extremely energetic performance and the crowd loved it. During the opening of Better Man every single person there sang along, even the Tom Petty folks. Perhaps the best concert I've ever seen and that's saying something.

My seats were in nosebleeding section. Pearl jam's set list was excellent. But their sound was horrible. It was like a muddy distored sound. I could not hear Eddie vocals, as for the other boys in the band... I won't go there!!!! Personaly, I think their sound system is the problem. Not enough Power!!! They should use AC/DC's sound system!!!! It wasn't worth the $42.00 Ticket. Maybe I'll think twice about seeing P. Jam. Rockin Chicago Dave (aka Rockin Vegas Dave)

I have been a copmplete concert junkie for 9 years. After seeing many bands multiple times, I was not able to see my all-time favorites, Pearl Jam, until last night. It is possible to be disappointed and awestruck at the same time. My disappointment was only that their set-list included most of the same tracks as played on live on two legs. This is the closest I've been to hearing them live. However, there's no substitute for the real thing, so these songs (Corduroy, untitled, hail, hail, do the evolution, evenflow, etc) exploded into the crowd. Eddie remarked at how the Garden fans were wonderfully alive the night before and he hoped we could follow their lead (also citing the attendance of some 8,000 fanclub members). Eddie spent a good deal of time talking in between tracks, which somehow failed to annoy the crowd. The first few notes of each song never failed to bring a smile to everyone's face. On top of our favorites (mostly drawn from Live on Two Legs), Eddie called Johnny Ramone to request that they play one of their songs, broke out into a house-lite frenzy of "Keep on Rockin' in the Freeworld" and the always shiver-inducing "Yellow Ledbetter". They obviously pick their set-lists with care. I just wish I hadn't heard so much of it before. And somehow, performed live, the songs still have the ability to send shivers like the first time you heard them. Next Targets: Radiohead, Nelly Furtado, and Garbage.
