I saw NIN for the first time & I'm 53..but was amazed at their prefomance,,,though I was disappointed that they opened...but Jane's Addiction did play ,,Jane's Say,,steel drum version for their encore, which was great ,but watching Trend was totally awesome, hope they don't break up like they said at the show .

I was surprised to find Nine Inch Nails opening for Janes Addiction, as I thought this was their tour, but apparently the bands had been swapping slots. We waited patiently as a fog machine filled the Pearl – to such a point that it set off smoke alarms in the building – which nobody reacted to. Before long the lights went down, and out came Reznor and the gang. The show was rocking from the get go. The band was on, and looked like they were enjoying themselves. This is in complete contrast to when I’ve seen them in the past when Reznor had smashed something after every song. March Of The Pigs is a favorite NIN song of mine, so I was pretty happy when they played that early on. Head Like A Hole finished the main set, and Hurt was the one and only encore – but a fantastic end to a good hour-forty set. (Shame he didn’t play Closer though).
    Setlist:
Somewhat Damaged / Terrible Lie / Heresy / March Of The Pigs / The Frail / Piggy / Metal / The Big Come Down / Gave Up / The Fragile / I Do Not Want This / The Downward Spiral / Wish / Survivalism / The Day The World Went Away / Physical (You're So) / The Hand That Feeds / Head Like A Hole Encore: Hurt

Once agian...NIN comes to town and exceeds all expectations. They have clearly become one of the best live bands around. The set was fantastic, so happy to hear Heresy and the cover of I'm Afraid of Americans, in fact the NIN version is better than Bowies! By the time Head Like A Hole came on I got sad knowing that this will be the last time I get to see NIN for a long time, I've been a fan since PHM came out and not missed a show by them here.

    WAVE GOODBYE! :(

Jane's were in top form too! NIN should have headlined though.

As for the venue...I have no issue with it but the security is to heavy handed. Rent-A-Cops are nothing but bitter suburban tards who failed the police exams. These fools have ruined several concerts at the Molson Ampitheatre harrasing people. Luckily, this time around, I had no issues but they were pulling people out of the crowd and throwing htem out for being to drunk. They need to recify the drinking situation and give proper warnings and have the staff selling the beer be better at screening, instead of having people being tossed out whne they've spent a lot of money on concert tickets.

Just an amazing show. Highlights The Becomming and Hersey. Got in early for the soundcheck with the presale ticktets, but were not allowed into the seating area until everyone else was so I could just hear the soundcheck not see. With 1st row orch seats the view and sound were great. NIN blew JA away imho. I just wish NIN started later so the crowd would have had more time to get into it and drink a little, then they might have been more responsive. not me tho I went nuts Thanks NIN. I pray NIN come back real soon. Please dont wave goodbye forever Trent
