I saw him perform at the Cricket Wireless Amphitheater in Chula Vista yesterday. He's a performer I've always wanted to see live and I was definitely not disappointed (well, the concert was only $1 so I doubt I would've been disappointed either way). It's amazing that he can put so many amazing lyrics into such a short amount of time. I think my favorite part of the night was when he sang his rendition of "At Last" and then closing the show with "I'm Yours." Simply awesome.

A Brilliant tenor performer! He’s energetically talented with smooth variance of soft variable octave abilities. No doubt, he carries his weight and acoustically delivers to the audience. Clearly, the diverse set list and repertoire along with his big sound entourage (woodwind, percussion & brass) provides the fans with nearly two hours of blissful entertainment unmatched by anyone in his genre. I would rate him among the highest of those in the alternative, blue-eyed soul artists today.

great show! the average age of the audience was, thankfully, 20s and 30s. there were some adolescent looking girls, but i'd have to say his appeal has broadened a lot. i'm 50, i felt a little dumb, but hey, i love his voice, his band is great, and it was a really good time.

it was a good show. i have a feeling i met him once...but that probably comes from the fact that my sister has taken to talking incessantly about him. sorry, but, if those are the kind of girls this guy attracts to shows, i don't think i can go to another one. good music, great lyricism, kickass showmanship...jock environment. what'd i expect. i wish good luck to jason.
