This review is for all of the 6 times I've seen Dwight perform since I discovered him in 2006, and he's a true joy to see and hear live. I'm grateful I haven't missed him like I did Buck Owens, Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings. Anyway, this country music trailblazer literally TEARS through a setlist of hits, singing and dancing with a lot of energy and style. He always has a great contingent of musicians with him, usually including the extremely talented Eddie Perez on guitar and Mitch Marine on drums. He twangs, he rocks, he serenades, he gives us "Honky Tonk Man," "Guitars Cadillacs," "A Thousand Miles From Nowhere," "Things Change," "It Only Hurts When I Cry," "Little Ways," "Little Sister," "Fast as You," "Under Your Spell Again," "Act Naturally," "Close Up the Honky Tonks" and more!! Lately I've been blessed to hear him play "Blame the Vain" and a smokin' hot version of "Since I Started Drinkin' Again." He's a true legend and dynamic performer, and I can't wait to see him again!
