Dr. Dog rocked. This was the first time I heard Dr. Dog. I was dancing my socks off. Some bluesy twang mixed, perfect harmonies and lilting melodies but definitely full of drive and rhythmic energy. A couple of them had the Blues Brother sunglasses and hats going. This show was a really good time. They had great stage presence and the crowd loved it. It was really happy-feel-good indie rock. It felt like Wilco meets Jimi Henrix Blues. I caught the last couple songs of the opening act Drug Rug. They were more rambunctious indie rock. Frenetic onstage energy, very rockin and unadulterated, with similar bluesy influence.
