I live a hundred miles away, and The Pageant is my favorite venue. Easy to get to, free parking very near, lots of bathrooms, a professional operation all the way around. I think it's significant that the performers often mention what a great venue it is from their perspective, and on their web sites and blogs they praise it too. you gotta love a place that makes the artist happy too! The only thing I don't love about it is the new merchandise room - instead of taking a quick peek on the way to the bathroom, you have to actually leave the room, and it seems so crowded in there - it seems like it would be more convenient, but it feels like more hassle and I end up looking at merch less than I did before.

Far and away, the best concert experience in St. Louis. Not a bad seat in the house, and most shows have reserved balcomy seats available. Staff is great, and sound and lighting is first class.
