I wish someone had mentioned that Cut Copy is the Australian Milli Vanilli. It was clear early on that they weren't playing their instruments. Then, as the show wore on, it started to seem like maybe they weren't singing either. It was comical, actually. The singer would play the keyboards (or, should I say, "play" the keyboards) and every time he'd stop to clap or dance gayly, the music didn't miss a beat. Same with the guitarist. Whenever there was an intricate part, he'd turn his back like he was really getting into it, Jeff Beck-style. But he may as well have been holding the plastic Guitar Hero guitar. Plus, when the singer talked, the acoustics were so bad you couldn't hear a word he was saying. But, when he sang, yep, you guessed it, clear as a bell. I'd have felt ripped off if I wasn't having such a fricking blast.
