Would love to go, looks like they have a great itinerary but they seem to be very stuffy as regards letting fans film shows even when the artist gives permission. They are the only venue to ever turn me down flat in this regard.

I LOVE this venue - not overly fond of the menu though - a little pricey for what you get. They get great acts - have seen Peter Frampton, Foreigner, Kenny Loggins, Shaw/Blades and many more acts - and your like 10-20 feet from the stage - get a number for seating choices when you get there but really no bad seat in the house. I lived in DC for over 20 years and unfortunately only discovered it 5 years ago. Don't want to think about what I lost out on. Small venue and easy to get into and out of. Would recommend.

NO DANCING, NO STANDING UP DURING THE SHOW, KILLED THE TOMMY CASTRO BAND (THEY ARE ONE OF THE GREAT LIVE ACTS), PURE ENEGRY. TOMMY PLAYS "SERVES YOU RIGHT TO SUFFER" AND WALKS AROUND PLAYING HIS GUITAR AND SINGING IN THE CROWD AND THEY ALL SAT ON THEIR HANDS. ACT WAS ON A TIME LIMIT, THEN MANAGEMENT SHUFFLED US OUT LIKE CATTLE. $20.00 FOR A PITCHER OF BEER. TOMMY HATED IT SO MUCH THAT HE LEFT 6 SONGS FROM HIS SET LIST IN THE GUITAR BOX. HE ENDS UP PLAYING 20 MINUTES OF SOLOS CAUSE THE AUDIENCE WASN'T INTO IT AND IT LOOKS LIKE THIS WAS TRULY DRIVEN BY THE VENUE. DON'T GO THERE.
