Thank you for being my greatest love and my greatest teacher,” his fiancé wrote on Instagram.

Ben Kouijzer, who used to work as music agent for CAA in the UK, passed away Sunday, Nov. 15, after a battle with MPNST cancer.

Kouijzer had shared his story publicly back in April, when he started a fundraiser to help with his medical costs.
He explained in a long, heartfelt message the details of his condition and the reasons he decided to try something other than standard chemo therapy.
Kouijzer and his fiancé kept supporters up to date on treatments and his health regularly. More than a quarter of a million pounds had been raised at press time.
The help came too late. “It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ben,” the latest message on Kouijzer’s fundraiser reads.
Clients and colleagues have been expressing their condolences. Producer trio Meduza wrote on Instagram: “From the moment we met you, we knew what our team were telling us about you was true. A Truly magical human being, full of love and not a bad word about you from anyone.”
DJ Roger Sanchez tweeted: “Ben Kouijzer was not only the best agent I have ever worked with, he was one of the kindest, honest and universally loved person I know.”
Singer songwriter SG Lewis wrote: “Heartbreaking news about Ben Kouijzer. One of the nicest guys in Music, and loved by so many. RIP Ben.”
Emma Banks, co-head at CAA in London, told Variety, “It’s a testament to the man that while he had only been working with us for a couple of years, we are mourning a lifelong friend.”
Kouijzer fiancé, who informed the world about his death via Instagram yesterday, wrote at one point in October, when Kouijzer was still receiving treatment:
“You are magic incarnated, the embodiment of the Divine Masculine – so universally loved, so pure and so good, right down to the very organelles within your cells.
“Everything you touch seems to turn to gold. Every person you meet is left better off.”
Kouijzer was 36 at the time of passing.
