Artist Group International has signed acclaimed rock act Jane’s Addiction featuring Perry Farrell, Dave Navarro, Chris Chaney and Stephen Perkins. AGI will also represent Perry Farrell in all of his solo endeavors.

Michael Arfin and Marsha Vlasic are the artists’ responsible agents.

“Working with Jane’s Addiction and Perry’s multiple bands is a dream come true,” said Arfin, who also represents the Smashing Pumpkins, Linkin Park, Hollywood Undead and Till Lindemann from Rammstein, amongst many others.

Vlasic’s roster also includes Neil Young, Iggy Pop, Elvis Costello, The Strokes and Regina Spektor. She was also named to Pollstar’s 2020 Women Of Live list.

In August, AGI and the London-based K2 Agency joined forces in a joint venture with the Yucaipa Companies.
Dave Navarro spoke at Pollstar Live! 2020 about his struggles with addiction and depression while working in the music industry, saying: “I have gotten to a place with it where I am speaking out about it because I want the people who are in my orbit to know that it’s OK to have this. It’s OK to share about it. It’s OK to not have shame about it. Shame is the thing that kills people. Shame is the thing that keeps bottled up inside us. We don’t want to be judged. We don’t want to hurt more. We’re afraid of everything. The shame locks it up.”
“So what I want to do is strip the shame from this thing and I want to find a way to not only embrace the things that we have, but to feel proud of it almost, in a strange way. I’ll put it to you this way, I’ve been given depression I’ve also been given a creative mind. I’ve been given addiction, but I’ve also been given great people. So there’s a give and a take and everybody has something. Everybody does.”
