South American electronic music booking agency Analog has commenced its expansion into key territories around the world, starting with Spain, where it has merged with Magnum Bookings.

The new company will be known as Analog Spain with effect from Jan. 1. Ian Hindmarsh founded Analog in Punta del Este, Uruguay, in Oct. 2016, and has since opened regional offices in London, Amsterdam, Punta Del Este and Mexico City.

Analog is not just opening an office in the Spanish capital Madrid, where Magnum Bookings was headquartered, but also in the Catalonian capital of Barcelona. According to Hindmarsh, “Analog Italy will be launched next, along with one or two more regional offices further ahead.”

He said having offices in key territories allowed Analog to provide a better service for its worldwide roster, which includes Nic Fanciulli, Monika Kruse, Carl Cox, Heidi, Yousef, Kaz James, Davide Squillace, Jon Rundell and many more.

Magnum Bookings was founded in 2009 with the main objective to help develop the careers of three DJs within the Spanish Peninsula. Both its roster and territories of representations grew quickly. Company founder Alex Montoya said joining with Analog represented “a new phase of the business (…) after many years of working together.”

Hindmarsh added: “I have known and worked with Alex for many years now and we both share the same ideas, ethics and standards when it comes to business. Having local knowledge and the ability to have a team who can meet promoters, see the venues and have a physical presence on the ground is the way forward.”
