Andrea Bocelli Announces June 2022 U.S. Tour Dates

Andrea Bocelli has added a brief run of June shows to his “Believe North American Tour.” The new dates will see him playing San Diego, Los Angeles, San Jose, Austin and Oklahoma City. 

The June outing kicks off at San Diego’s Pechanga Arena on June 15, followed by the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles June 16, SAP Center in San Jose June 18 and the Moody Center in Austin June 22. The excursion wraps up on June 23 at Oklahoma City’s Paycom Center, marking Bocelli’s first time playing the city. The San Jose show was rescheduled from June 2020 and all tickets originally purchased are valid for the new gig.
Bocelli’s ongoing 21-city “Believe North American Tour” marks his largest tour to date. He has eight more shows on the books in December including two upcoming nights for Dec. 15 and 16 at Madison Square Garden in New York. Following his run through December, Bocelli will be heading over to Europe before coming back to the United States for his annual In Concert For Valentine’s Day. 
“Friends who invite me to visit their city for the first time, such as the concert in Oklahoma City,” Andrea Bocelli said in a statement. “Friends who want to share their new home (of music), such as the performance planned in the thrumming arena of the new Moody Center in Austin… Friends who clamor for me to return and the great embrace that brought us together again a few months later, such as at the Hollywood Bowl… And then San Diego and San Jose! These are not just dates and concerts for me: these are days of celebration in the calendar of my professional and personal life, as they give me the exhilarating confirmation that I continue to honor the mission (and dream and fulfillment) of every artist: to be an ambassador for beauty, restoring some serenity, entering gently into people’s hearts and finding a space in the soundtrack of the lives of so many.” 
Bocelli’s previous two-night stint at Madison Square Garden back in December 2019 brought in a whopping $5,385,074, while his most recent show at Pechanga Arena in San Diego made $2,135,995 that same year. Bocelli’s Oct. 10 show at American Airlines Center in Dallas brought in $2,162,628.
In June, Bocelli performed at the Opening Ceremony of the 2020 UEFA European Football Championship held in Rome, Italy. The singer’s most recent album, November 2020’s Believe, features arias, crossover hits and famed love songs. The album is described as “poignant and uplifting personal collection of songs, celebrating the power of music to soothe the soul.” Bocelli’s upcoming tour will see him performing a variety of tracks from the project.
AMEX cardholders will be able to purchase tickets before the general public with an exclusive presale that begins on Dec. 6 at 10 a.m. local time until Dec. 12 at 11 p.m. local time. Members of Bocelli’s fan club will be able to access presale tickets on Dec. 8 at 10 a.m. local time through Dec. 12 at 11 p.m. local time. Tickets for the tour will go on sale on Dec. 13 at 10 a.m. local time.

For those unable to attend Bocelli’s upcoming run, PBS stations will be airing Andrea Bocelli’s 10th Anniversary of Central Park all month in support of the tour.
