The HeadCount Stage at #iVoted Festival will feature Trey Anastasio, Jim James and more.

#iVoted Festival, the sprawling Election Day streaming event featuring nearly 500 artists, just got even bigger.

Trey Anastasio, Taking Back Sunday, The Disco Biscuits, Fantastic Negrito, Umphrey’s McGee, My Morning Jacket’s Jim James, Citizen Cope and more will perform on the event’s HeadCount Stage, and Billie Eilish, MGMT, Julien Baker and Rhea Butcher will make special appearances.

The stage will be supported by ASCAP and Ben and Jerry’s.

The subject of Pollstar‘s current cover story, #iVoted is “making lemonade out of lemons,” according to co-founder Emily White, by pivoting from the venue-centric strategy of its inaugural edition in 2018 to a digital version this year.

Nascent streaming platform Mandolin is hosting the stream, which will be compromised of 17 stages. Running from 12 p.m. ET to 2 a.m. ET on Nov. 3, #iVoted Festival is free to all, provided fans demonstrate they voted – or share why they’re excited to do so when they become eligible.

“It’s such an important part of being an American in 2020,” HeadCount Stage performer Fantastic Negrito tells Pollstar. “You get involved and you get active and you vote. If you’ve got a platform, then you let people know that you’re involved and that you care and that you’re gonna get up and say ‘Do the right thing’ while you’ve got the mic, because you might not always have the mic.”

#iVoted’s partnership with HeadCount, another nonpartisan organization that fosters political engagement, comes at an auspicious time for the latter, which earlier this month announced it had registered its millionth voter since its 2004 inception. More than half that figure came this year.
