Bon Jovi Plots Summer Arena Tour & Announces New Album

Bon Jovi announced a North American arena tour and new album on Wednesday.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band, whose $836.7 million gross from 2010 to 2019 ranked No. 5 on Pollstar‘s Top Touring Artists of the Decade list, will begin its tour at the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Wash., on June 10, and conclude the jaunt with two nights at New York’s Madison Square Garden July 27-28.

The band will hit several major arenas along the way, including Los Angeles’ Forum (June 18), Dallas’ American Airlines Center (June 25) and Chicago’s United Center (July 21).

Fans who buy tickets will receive a CD copy of Bon Jovi 2020, the band’s new album, slated for release later this year on Island Records.

“If you consider numbers, we’re as big or bigger than ever,” frontman Jon Bon Jovi told Pollstar in a December cover story about the band’s continued success.

To wit: In addition to astronomical box office numbers, the band’s most recent album, 2016’s This House Is Not For Sale, hit No. 1 on Billboard‘s albums chart.

“Fans around the world have considered Bon Jovi’s records and live shows to be at the very top of the rock pantheon for more than three decades,” Island Records president Darcus Beese told Pollstar.

Added another member of Bon Jovi’s team, CAA Head of Music Rob Light: “Jon was really one of the first artists to realize it is a worldwide market, long before other bands began doing this many shows internationally. It’s part of why he’s a worldwide phenomenon.”

The “Bon Jovi 2020 Tour” will feature Bryan Adams, save at its Las Vegas and Toronto dates. Tickets go on sale to the general public on January 24 at 10 a.m. local time via Live Nation.
