– Concerts On The Farm

North America is ready for a return to live music and Bonnaroo is ready to whet fans’ appetites with a new in-person concert series, called Concerts On The Farm. Initial performers include Billy Strings, Jon Pardi and The Avett Brothers.

The shows will be hosted on The Bonnaroo Farm (also known as Great Stage Park) in Manchester, Tenn., the 650-acre home of Bonnaroo.

All shows will have limited capacity and tickets will be sold in groups of four, with attendees occupying 8’ x 8’ pods arranged six feet apart. Masks will be required for fans outside of pods and all staff will be required to wear masks. Fans are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets for their pod.

The three initial shows in the series are “An Evening With Billy Strings,” on May 28; Jon Pardi featuring special guest Jameson Rodgers on May 29, and “An Evening With The Avett Brothers,” for three nights, July 2-4. Performances will be livestreamed through Veeps.

All tickets go on sale March 19 at 10 a.m. CT. For each ticket sold, $1 is donated to the Bonnaroo Works fund.

Concessions and merch will be made available through mobile ordering on site.

Sponsors for the event include Verizon, BACARDÍ and Tennessee Department of Tourist Development.

“The soundtrack of America is made in Tennessee, and I can’t think of a better place to celebrate the return of live music than at the Bonnaroo Farm,” Tennessee Department of Tourist Development Commissioner Mark Ezell said in a statement. “We’re ready to see our stages and venues full again, and artists back on the road doing what they love. We know music fans are ready as well, and Concerts On The Farm’s approach to delivering live music in a responsible environment will set the bar high for future events.”

Bonnaroo was forced to call off its 2020 edition because of the COVID-19 pandemic. In lieu of the IRL event organizers put on a digital event, Virtual ROO-ALITY Sept. 24-26, which was a combination of archival footage and livestream performances.

Bonnaroo is currently scheduled to take place Sept. 2-5, though no lineup has been announced and tickets are not yet available for purchase by the general public.
