Bowery Entertainment Rebrands As ‘Action Artist Group’

Artist management, tour booking and branded events company Bowery Entertainment Group has re-branded, with the company’s execs saying new name Action Artist Group is more in line with its goals.

‘Action Artist Group’ felt right in a way that other names hadn’t,” says company co-founder John Damiano. “It’s more reflective of what we were about and what we do.”
Co-founder Jack White continues, “Following our merger, we messed around with a few names, but none of them really stuck…we even officially changed it at one point and went live under a name we didn’t totally love.”
The re-branding also eliminates any confusion between the AEG-owned The Bowery Presents, which owns and operates notable venues across the East Coast including Terminal 5, Brooklyn Steel and Forest Hills Stadium in New York.
The company says it has been working hard for its clients as COVID-19 restrictions loosen and the United States vaccination rollout continues, “as we all navigate the uncharted waters of the entertainment industry in 2021.”
The company’s clients include Emo Night Karaoke, Lauren Rocket, Lilac Kings, Nate Flud,  Tokyo Slums and others.
