Country duo and four-time Entertainer of the Year winners Brooks & Dunn will hit the road this summer for the first nationwide tour in 10 years, with the “Reboot 2020 Tour” kicking off May 15 in St. Louis and playing amphitheatres into September.

“So much for ‘we quit,’ huh?” quipped Ronnie Dunn in a statement, acknowledging the band had done what it said would be its farewell tour with “The Last Rodeo” in 2010. “That horse that we were afraid of riding into the ground apparently didn’t share our sentiment…he gotta fire in his belly raring to go another round or two. I like the ring of it…’Brooks & Dunn ride again!’”
“The memories of playing live are what have kept the fire burning for us,” shared Kix Brooks. “Performers who have had the kind of nights like we’ve had with our fans, can never really let that go. Live is where we’re most at home, and it’s gonna feel good to be back in the saddle, let’s rodeo!  We’ll see y’all out there on the trail.”
Tickets will be available first as part of the Live Nation Country Megaticket and more information will become available at brooks-dunn.com in the coming weeks.
While Brooks & Dunn have performed in recent years as part of the Reba, Brooks & Dunn Las Vegas residency with Reba McEntire at Caesars Palace, as well as festival dates including Faster Horses, WE Fest, and Country LakeShake, this is the first full-blown tour for the Duo, famous for ’90s hits including “Boot Scootin Boogie.”  The 2010 tour “Farewell Rodeo” tour grossed $25.7 million on 46 shows, according to Pollstar, and was the No. 28 North American tour of that year.
The “Reboot” routing notably lacks West Coast dates, suggesting more dates are coming.  The duo is represented by WME Nashville.
Brooks & Dunn is nominated for a Grammy for “Best Country Duo/ Group Performance” for its collaboration with Luke Combs on “Brand New Man” and was just inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in the “Modern Era Artist” category. A Country Music Hall of Fame exhibit on Brooks & Dunn opened last fall and will run through July 19, 2020.
