Croatia’s BSH Island announced that it will go ahead with a negatively tested or vaccinated audience for its July 1-5 event. The lineup includes Paco Osuna, Dennis Cruz, Ilario Alicante, Artbat, and many more.

The festival’s main stage is located at the Noa Beach Club, situated on the famous Zrce beach on the Island of Pag, Coratia.
“Musically, every shade up upfront house and techno is covered with style and depth thanks to agenda-stetting headliners like Spanish titan Paco Osuna, house hitmaker Dennis Cruz, Ibiza legend Ilario Alicante, Ukrainian melodic pair Artbat and Italian synth maestros Mathame, Brina Knauss, Sidney Charles and Mar-T as well as special guests to come and some cutting edge sounds from fast-rising local talents,” the announcement states.
Pollstar reached out to BSH Island founder Drago Vukelic, who explained who would be allowed inside the festival: “At this moment every visitor that enters Croatia, if they want to avoid quarantine, has to have either a vaccination confirmation or negative covid-19 test, depending from which area people are entering,” he said.
“An additional negative test will most likely not be necessary to enter the event, unless requirements change until then,” Vukelic continued.
Current mandates on site include distancing, which is why the event has limited this year’s capacity to provide enough square meters for visitors to spread out.
The current limit on open-air gatherings in Croatia is 500 people. Vukelic remains optimistic that more people will be able to attend closer to the July dates.
“Masks won’t be mandatory since it’s an open air event,” said Vukelic, “however, we will have to follow measures and news until the last moment, and meet the requirements.”
