Chicano Batman was featured on the cover of Pollstar in 2017, during which the band’s agent John Bongiorno said: “I listened to it and I really liked it but, more than that, I found myself really loving them musically. I loved it so much, in my car and in my personal life, that if anybody else was going to do it, I was going to be upset. It had to be me.”

Chicano Batman did a co-headline tour with Khruangbin in 2017 that filled clubs throughout the U.S. Included on that routing were  Emo’s in Austin; 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C.; and Paradise Rock Club in Boston, all of which are repeated in this tour. The highest-grossing show reported on that tour  was Fox Theater in Oakland, Calif., which earned $79,073.

The new album, Invisible People, is due out May 1, and the single “Color My Life” was released today.
