This Is Festival Season: Childish Gambino, who already had some high-profile festival slots in 2018 such as the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas, is now headlining Coachella, Bonnaroo, and Broccoli City festivals.

Osheaga Festival announced the lineup Tuesday for its 14th annual installment, scheduled to return to Montreal’s Parc Jean-Drapeau from August 2 to 4.

The Lumineers, The Chemical Brothers and Childish Gambino will headline the event, with other major top-billed acts including Flume, Logic, Tame Impala, J Balvin, City and Colour, Hozier, Interpol, Janelle Monae and Kaytranada.

Additional noteworthy artists on the bill include Gucci Mane, Rüfüs Du Sol, Metric, Kurt Vile & the Violators, Beach House, Mac DeMarco, Jessie Reyez, Young the Giant, Normani, Rosalía, Ski Mask the Slump God, Gunna, Mitski, Denzel Curry, St. Paul & the Broken Bones, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, The Black Madonna, DJ Koze, Hayley Kiyoko, Sigrid, Sharon Van Etten, Tierra Whack and Real Estate.

Pollstar‘s two most recent cover stars, Louis the Child and Dean Lewis, also appear on the bill.

Osheaga was one of two festivals to announce Childish Gambino as a headliner on Tuesday. The forward-thinking artist, who grossed $8.5 million in 2018 and took home Record and Song of the Year at February’s Grammys, was also unveiled as a headliner at San Francisco’s Outside Lands, slated for the weekend after Osheaga.

Last week, Gambino was announced as a headliner for Lollapalooza, which takes place the same weekend as Osheaga; he’ll also headline Coachella in April and Bonnaroo in June.

Many of Gambino’s peers on the Osheaga bill are similarly active this festival season. Tame Impala, booked for Saturday Night Live this weekend, appears alongside Gambino on the Coachella and Lollapalooza bills. Flume, J Balvin, Janelle Monae, Hozier, Rüfüs Du Sol and several other Osheaga artists appear on Lollapalooza’s bill; Flume, The Lumineers, Hozier, Tierra Whack, Dean Lewis and DJ Koze all also appear on the Outside Lands lineup announced today.

The exception is The Chemical Brothers, whose Osheaga appearance becomes the electronic music duo’s second announced North American festival play, following a May appearance at Mexico’s Corona Capital Guadalajara. The Chemical Brothers will play several festival plays abroad – including Glastonbury in June – and have announced three North American headlining gigs, all taking place this May in California.

In 2018, Osheaga sold 131,520 tickets and grossed $10.6 million, according to Pollstar box office data. Travis Scott, Arctic Monkeys and Florence + the Machine topped a bill that also included Odesa, Khalid, The National, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Tyler, the Creator, Post Malone, James Blake, Anderson .Paak & the Free Nationals, Rae Sremmurd and James Bay.

Three-day passes for Osheaga are on sale now; one-day passes will become available at a later date.
