CTS Eventim Inaugurates New Backstage Area At Waldbühne Berlin

CTS Eventim CEO Klaus-Peter Schulenberg and Aleksander Dzembritzki, state secretary for interior and sports in the Berlin Senate, conducted the inauguration ceremony.

The two-story edifice was built by CTS Eventim, the operator of Waldbühne Berlin. Max Dudler designed the building, which took eight months to build. The new building encompasses more than 750 square meters of useful area and a large, 160 square meter outdoor terrace.

The first acts to enjoy the new amenities are German rock icons

Waldbühne Berlin has a capacity of 22,290. More than 350,000 guests visited the venue in 2017, which marked a new attendance record, and placed it among the top 15 of Pollstar‘s year-end worldwide amphitheater ranking. It’s an artist favorite, and Ben Lovett of Mumford & Sons is the most recent one to praise it in an interview with Pollstar.
