DakotaDome Facelift Moves Forward

University of South Dakota officials are moving forward on upgrading the 10,000-capacity DakotaDome.

The $26.3 million project includes upgrades to plumbing, electrical, sound, lighting, fire system and Americans with Disabilities Act improvements to restrooms, meeting rooms, coach offices and locker rooms. 
The second phase adds permanent seating and upper-level suites, with the goal of increasing capacity to 12,000-13,000.
