For the fourth year in a row, a “The Night Before” concert will highlight a top-shelf musical act the weekend of the Super Bowl in the host market. This year the artist of choice will be Dave Matthews Band.

The gig is set to take place Feb. 3 at Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minn., with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. The big game will be held the next day at U.S. Bank Stadium, with a half-time performance featuring Justin Timberlake.

The show is being put on by CBS Radio and On Location Experiences. Warehouse Fan Association Members already have access to a presale for DMB Tickets. Another presale for CBS Radio listeners and On Location members opens tomorrow, Nov. 16. The general onsale is Friday, Nov. 17.

Previous “The Night Before” shows featured Metallica in 2016, Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, and Florida Georgia Line in 2015, and Red Hot Chili Peppers in 2014.

DMB has an extensive catalog and there is no word on what the group will play. The “Night Before” play is the group’s only gig currently on the books.

The only show the full band played this year was at Scott Stadium @ Univ. Of Virginia Sept. 24. Otherwise, Dave has been playing solo gigs and acoustic sets with longtime collaborator Tim Reynolds.

A long-standing arena draw, DMB reported an average attendance of 16,938 per market in 2016, though those figures include two-night and three-night stands in five cities.
