The first Live From Rough Trade shows are confirmed.
– The first Live From Rough Trade shows are confirmed.

London-based record store Rough Trade is launching a livestream series by the name of Live From Rough Trade, which will be ticketed and broadcast by ticketing and gig discovery platform DICE.
It’ll serve as a tool to bring Rough Trade’s iconic in-store gigs to an audience in times when it is prohibited from attending in person.
Confirmed shows include performances by shame, Arlo Parks and Goat Girl. Full timings below. Future live shows and in-store sessions will also be ticketed and broadcast on DICE via the partnership.
Once the UK government lifts restrictions and people can physically experience Rough Trade’s in-store gigs again, Live From Rough Trade will continue for those unable to attend in person.
DICE introduced high-quality livestreaming in April. By its own admission, the company showcased over 5,000 livestreams and sold tickets in 146 countries for concerts by the likes of Laura Marling, Nick Cave, Kylie Minogue and Bjork (most of these were promoted by Driift).
Each Live From Rough Trade show will be filmed with multiple cameras and be available in high definition for those able to watch in HD.
Stephen Godfroy, co-owner at Rough Trade, commented: “Partnering with DICE to translate this magical, intimate experience for fans, no matter where in the UK or globe they happen to be, marks a significant step forward for Rough Trade as we scale our digital services and reach, as it not only provides our customers with ‘best in class’ livestream player, it also provides a ‘best in class’ digital ticketing solution.”
Amy Oldham, MD at DICE, added: “Over the years, Rough Trade has made such a huge impact on the independent music scene – and continues to do so with an unrivaled ethos that genuinely champions and supports grassroots music and young talent. Rough Trade is the perfect fit for DICE.
“Partnering together means that even more fans across the globe will be able to discover and connect with the Rough Trade brand and its exciting new series of livestream shows.”
