“In light of recent allegations that have come forth, we have decided to sever our relationship with Datsik at this time,” Deckstar said in a statement to Pollstar. “Although we lack concrete information to confirm or deny these allegations, the nature and volume of the accusations demand swift and decisive action. We have always held ourselves and clients to the highest standards and believe that at this time it is in the best interest of our company and staff to move on.”

Multiple young women have come forward on social media saying popular dubstep DJ Datsik has made unwanted sexual advances and given drugs to women.

The allegations have led to a flood of similar comments, his opening acts saying they’re leaving the tour until things are figured out, and one local promoter saying they won’t work with him.
While many of the Twitter posts have been deleted because of privacy concerns, there are multiple allegations that Datsik would invite young women to his tour bus, give them drugs like xanax and ketamine and then have sex with them.
There are also tweets and screenshots of backstage passes bearing the Datsik banner with the “Tulsa” written on them, which backwards reads “a slut.”

One promoter has already distanced itself from Datsik, as TC Presents in Minneapolis was to co-promote a March 24 show at the Skyway Theatre.  That show appears to still be happening, however.

Space Jesus, with a more professionally crafted statement than the somewhat casual one from Datsik, has announced he is immediately taking himself off of the Ninja Nation tour, which was to continue through the Midwest and East Coast through March. Riot Ten, also on the Ninja Nation Tour, tweeted: “until further investigation, i am pulling off the tour. sorry to all my fans. i hope to see you soon and that this gets resolved.”

Electronic dance music duo-sisters Krewella lashed out at Datsik, on Twitter, telling him to “own up“and “accept the consequences.” Krewella, known as somewhat of an outlier in the male-dominated world of EDM, spoke at Pollstar Live! on a panel titled “Women On The Road” in February about breaking into the community.

Fellow bass music artist and major headliner Excision also made a statement, saying he does not condone any of the alleged behavior and adding that it’s known he does not party or drink after his shows. He said this news may be a wakeup call.
