EAMC Conference Celebrates Marketing

The third annual Event and Arena Marketing conference held its awards ceremony June 20 in Tulsa, Okla.

The winner for marketing campaign of the year was Allied Integrated Marketing for its Cirque Dreams Holidaze campaign.

The publicity campaign of the year went to Maple Leaf Sports + Entertainment for “Drake Night” in Toronto.

Group sales campaign of the year went to the FP Funding Center’s efforts for “The Moscow Ballet: A Great Russian Tea Part.”

The event saw the presentation of the Gigi Award of Excellence to the late Vince Egan, who founded VEE, helped created Sesame Street Live and was a “founding father” of the EAMC.

This year’s inductees into the EAMC Hall of Fame included Cindy Underwood-Oleshak, president of Cynergy Entertainment Marketing, and Ed Rubinstein, CEO of ArenaNetwork.
