Electric Daisy UK Not Happening

Insomniac announced Jan. 18 that Electric Daisy Carnival UK is “indefinitely postponed” until organizers “can properly reimagine all areas of the experience.”

A statement on the festival’s website reads: “Our plans to grow and improve the festival at Milton Keynes have not developed as we had hoped, and we are not going to be able to stage EDC UK this July in a manner that meets all of our high expectations.”

Insomniac again brings its flagship event, Electric Daisy Carnival, to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in 2015 with approximately 100,000 nightly visitors checking out its rides, stages and performers June 19-21.

EDC UK had taken place annually since 2013, first in London and then at the Milton Keynes Bowl in Buckinghamshire, England, since 2014. 

The UK news follows the announcement that Electric Daisy Carnival New York City would take a break for 2017. EDC NYC 2016 took place at Citi Field. Dates and lineups had not been announced for either.
