Elite 100: Foo Fighters, Post Malone
The week’s top spot goes to Foo Fighters, with strong album sales of its new LP and U.S. tour dates taking the band into December before playing Australia and South America.
According to Pollstar data, Dave Grohl and Co. have averaged 26,847 tickets sold per night over the last three years, good for an average gross of a cool $2 million.

Seeing a big jump from last week (no. 26) is rapper Post Malone, who just dropped new single “Rockstar.” Malone’s No. 2 spot, above Elite 100 mainstay Drake and the red-hot Lil Uzi Vert, is almost solely thanks to singles sales. The track broke Apple Music record for most streams in one week, according to The Verge.
No. 10 is Korean boy band BTS, whiich was not on the chart at all last week. That spot is notable for a Korean-language artist, and the chart position includes strong sales in albums, singles and streams.
Thomas Rhett, No. 1 last week, holds strong at No. 7 this time.
