New Saga Festival In Romania Unveils First Names
A new festival is coming to the Romania in 2020: Saga Festival. The premiere will take place June 5-7, 2020, at Izvor Park in the Romanian capital of Bucharest.
Promoter Alda Events, since last year part of Insomniac, promises a lineup of 150-plus artists performing on five diverse stages.
The first announced names include Disclosure, Don Diablo, Sister Bliss performing a Faithless DJ Set, Marshmello, and Meduza.
Fans should take advantage of a very special ticket offer in light of the premiere: so-called 3-day loyalty passes go for just RON 21 ($23) at the moment.

BST Hyde Park Adds Taylor Swift & Pearl Jam
Since Pollstar‘s most recent lineup roundup, British Summer Time has added two big names in addition to the previously announced Little Mix. 
Both Taylor Swift and Pearl Jam are going to perform at the AEG Presents/Goldenvoice event, which will take place on two weekends – July 3-5 and July 10-12 – with a week of free activities hosted on the festival grounds in-between.
Pearl Jam will headline on July 4, marking their only UK performance in 2020, when the band embarks on a 13-date European tour. At BST Hyde Park, the rock icons will be supported by Pixies and White Reaper, with more support acts to be announced.
Taylor Swift returns to BST Hyde Park, where she already performed in 2015 in front of a 65,000-strong crowd. Next year, she will headline on July 11. Supporting artists have yet to be announced.

Kraftwerk 3D Goes APE
AEG Presents also announced the first headliners of its other London festival, All Points East, which will go down for a third time at Victoria Park, May 22-31. 
Tame Impala will perform on May 23, leading a bill that also includes Caribou, Glass Animals, Whitney, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, Holy F, and more to be announced.
Kraftwerk 3D will headline on May 29, supported by Iggy Pop, Johnny Marr, The Orb, Chromatics, Grandmaster Flash and more.
Kendrick Lamar at Rock Werchter & Lollapalooza Stockholm
As part of their European tour, Pearl Jam will also perform at Rock Werchter Festival in Belgium, as well as the Lollapaloozas in Paris, France, and Stockholm, Sweden.
Live Nation’s Rock Werchter, which takes place July 2-5, has also announced Kendrick Lamar, Twenty One Pilots, System of a Down, Pixies, Wilco, Thom Yorke and Yungblud.
The second edition of Lollapalooza Stockholm, also a Live Nation brand, has revealed its 2020 lineup, which aside from Pearl Jam and Kendrick Lamar also features Post Malone, Ellie Goulding, Zara Larsson, The Killers, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, Camila Cabello, Kacey Musgraves, Galantis, Of Monsters and Men, Rival Sons, Rex Orange County and more.
Over 55 artists are announced to perform on across four stages, June 26-28, 2020 at Gärdet, a scenic park in the heart of the Swedish capital.

Melt! Festival in Germany is making good on its promise of delivering one of the most diverse lineups in Europe at its 23. edition next year, July 17-19, in Gräfenhainichen, Germany.

A live set by Bicep, former Moloko singer Róisín Murphy, alternative dance sensation Rüfüs Du Sol, british soul musician Michael Kiwanuka, as well as nifty producers like Fatima Yamaha, Floating Points (live) or TNGHT, the duo formed by Hudson Mohawke und Lunice, are all part of the initial lineup announcement.
Also confirmed: Kummer, a solo-project by Felix Kummer, the singer of German band Kraftklub, New York singer/songwriter discovery Two Feet, EarthGang as well as Berghain resident Marcel Dettmann in a back-to-back performance with DJ Stingray. 
Newcomers including Channel Tres, Bakar, Ama Lou, Afrodeutsche, Keke, Alli Neumann und many more have also been confirmed.
Pollstar already wrote about the the first artists to perform at Rock am Ring and Rock im Park in Germany next year, June 5-7, when both festivals will celebrate huge anniversaries: Rock Am Ring turns 35, while Rock Im Park will celebrate its 25th edition, June 5-7.
U.S. alternative metal icons System Of A Down, punk veterans Green Day, who will perform songs from their first new album in six years, as well as Danish metal sensation Volbeat have already been confirmed as headliners.
Since then, a wealth of artists has joined the bill, including Alter Bridge, Rea Garvey, Airbourne, NF, Royal Republic, Babymetal, Eskimo Callboy, Skillet, SSIO, Bush, Refused, The Pretty Reckless, Gojira, Black Veil Brides, Seasick Steve, Schmutzki, Gang Of Youths, Baroness, We Came As Romans, Neffex, Devin Townsend, Toxpack, Amaranthe, Wage War, The Menzingers, Boston Manor, Ego Kill Talent, Stone Broken, Creeper, Tempt, Billy Talent, Broilers, Korn, Disturbed, Deftones, The Offspring, Trailerpark, Weezer, Bilderbuch, Wanda, Alan Walker, Heaven Shall Burn, Yungblud, Powerwolf, Trettmann, Bosse, Of Mice & Men, Motionless In White, and August Burns Red.
Live Nation GSA stated it already sold 125,000 tickets for the anniversary editions of the iconic twin events.
Northside Festival Denmark: Last Edition In Aarhus
Next year’s edition of Northside Festival, June 4-6, will mark the last edition of the event to take place at Adalen in the Danish city of Aarhus. 
The preliminary lineup of Northside 2019 reads as follows: Green Day, Robyn, Lukas Graham, Kashmir, Mew, Weezer, White Lies, Spleen United, Johnny Marr, Hans Philip, Clara, Folkeklubben, Mags, Mekdes, Franc Moody, and Jung.
The festival, which is currently at a capacity of some 40,000 visitors per day, will move to Eskelund in 2021, a greenfield site in Aarhus twice as large as the current one.
According to a statement from promoter Down The Drain Group, which received investment by Superstruct earlier this year, the move “means that a whole range of ideas and experiences which Ådalen could not accommodate can finally become a reality.”

Festival Republic: Latitude Celebrates 15th Anniversary, Lovebox Returns To Gunnersbury Park
Next year’s edition of Latitude Festival, promoted by Live Nation’s Festival Republic, will mark the event’s 15th anniversary.
HAIM, Liam Gallagher, The Chemical Brothers, Charli XCX, Local Natives, James Vincent McMorrow, Kawala, Ibibio Sound Machine, Phoebe Bridgers, The Futureheads, Girl Ray, Marika Hackman, Pat Thomas & Kwashibu Area Band, Joy Crookes, Velvet Negroni, Inhaler and more will be gracing the music stages at Henham Park, Suffolk, England, July 16-19.
The festival also puts on an alternative arts program, which includes comedy. The first confirmed act for the Comedy Arena is the Bill Bailey. #Merky Books, Stormzy’s publishing imprint with Penguin Random House will give guests at Latitude a taste of the new writers changing today’s literature, with special guests to be announced.
In other Festival Republic news, Lovebox Festival returns to Gunnersbury Park, June 12-14, where it took place for the first time last year.
The bill for Lovebox 2020 so far includes Tyler The Creator, Disclosure (live), Khalid, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, Charli XCX, FKA Twigs, Hot Chip, Little Simz, Jorja Smith, Mabel, and Peggy Gou.
