Ottawa Bluesfest Unveils 2018 Lineup

Taking place July 5-15 in LeBreton Flats Park in Ottawa, Ontario, the festival’s eclectic lineup also features Bryan Adams, The War On Drugs,

The presale for the festival begins Feb. 15, with the general sale starting Feb. 16.

Foo Fighters is already confirmed to headline France’s Download Festival and Florida’s Welcome To Rockville. The band had a successful 2017, placing No. 70 on Pollstar’s Year End Top 200 North American Tours Chart with 219,090 tickets sold and a total gross of more than $19.9 million. The Foos’ biggest night took place at at U.S. Bank Arena, with 14,272 tickets sold and more than $1.3 million grossed, according to Pollstar’s box office reports.

Beck is hitting plenty of festivals this year, including New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and In Bloom Music Festival. In addition to opening for U2 last year, the rocker also played a handful of solo shows, including a sold-out night at Greek Theatre At UC Berkeley in California, which sold 8,532 tickets and grossed $507,654.

Dave Mathews Band toured extensively in 2016. Highlights include shows at Toronto’s Budweiser Stage, selling 12,738 tickets and grossing $725,797; Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, selling 13,179 tickets and grossing $832,741 tickets; and three nights at the Gorge Amphitheater in George, Wash., moving 63,696 tickets and raking in more than $2.6 million.

Sturgill Simpson is booked for his fair share of festivals this year, including Bonnaroo. His highest-grossing solo show reported to Pollstar last year was a set at the Austin360 Amphitheater in Texas, which sold 8,976 tickets and grossed $316,953.
