Former Stagehand Sues Katy Perry

A stagehand who worked on Katy Perry’s Prismatic World Tour is suing the popstar after a backstage accident forced her to amputate a toe.

Christina Fish alleges the incident happened June 22, 2014, at the PNC Arena in Raleigh, N.C., when her foot got caught underneath a structural framework she was asked to move after Perry’s show, reports TMZ. The wall apparently rolled across Fish’s foot and injured her right big toe.

She claims no one called an ambulance when her shoe filled with blood, and she was merely offered ice for the wound. Fish said she was forced to call a friend to take her to the hospital.

Her toe allegedly became gangrenous and was eventually amputated, leaving her unable to walk and work for months.

Fish claims she suffered “great emotional distress” because of the accident. She alleges she can no longer do some of her favorite activities, such as yoga.

Fish is suing Perry, as well as Live Nation and several other production companies.

Perry’s Prismatic World Tour began in May 2014 and ran until October 2015.
