The country superstar has sold out all of his five closing concerts at Croke Park in Ireland next year.

Garth Brooks will end his current stadium tour in typical Garth fashion: with an incredible number of tickets sold.
After being forced to cancel five stadium shows in light of the coronavirus crisis in 2021, the country superstar has finally announced the remaining dates of his stadium tour. Aside from an April 23 North American date at Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville – his first time in Arkansas in over seven years – the country star also scheduled the dates that will close his latest trek: five nights at Croke Park in the Irish capital of Dublin.

Promoter Aiken Promotions had initially announced two dates, Sept. 9-10. After some 180,000 ticket buyers immediately showed up for the occasion, a third show (Sept. 11) was added 40 minutes into the on sale. At the top of the our, two more concerts had been scheduled for Sept. 16-17, bringing the tally up to five closing concerts for the Garth Brooks stadium tour.

All five shows are now sold out, with more than 400,000 tickets sold. Not only are the concerts the closing shows of Garth Brooks’ latest stadium run, they also mark his only shows in Europe in 2022.
When leaving the stage on Sept. 17, the country superstar and Pollstar’s first Live Hall of Fame Inductee will have come full circle: In 2014, the year Brooks returned to the world stage after a ten-year hiatus, he had five Croke Park dates on his itinerary, all of which had to be canceled when the local city council refused to grant the required permits.
Water under the bridge, as the 400,000-plus sold out tickets prove. “I never dreamed we’d get the chance to try this again. I’m so grateful to all who made this happen,” a statement from Garth Brooks reads.
The Garth Brooks Stadium Tour was the best selling country music tour of 2019 on Pollstar’s Year End Top 200 North American Tours chart, and was awarded Country Touring Artist of the Decade at the 2021 Pollstar Awards. Read our cover story with Garth Brooks here.
