What tent poles are you most proud of in your career?
Jason Miller: As a former international CAA Agent, representing Beyoncée, Jimmy Fallon, Maroon 5, etc.
As a promoter, producing 80% of the highest grossing western artist tours across Asia in the last decade.
Why must everyone go to this panel?
Lots of panels about the North American business but only one with international flavor. Producing a show in Detroit is not all that different than producing a show in Des Moines for example, but I can promise that producing shows in Beijing is entirely different than producing shows in Bangkok!
What story will you tell during the panel?
When I was a CAA Agent I went on a Scandinavian tour with Stevie Wonder and helped him write a song (“Rain Your Love Down”) which ended up on his next record.
What’s the story you won’t tell?
I have hours and hours of stories about the dozens of big shows I produced in Nigeria. Those stories are better told privately over a few beers…
What may cause tempers to flare?
International show settlements in two currencies
What was the best part of your 2021?
Partnering with CTS Eventim… by a landslide
Can you give us a prediction for a highlight of 2022?
A personal highlight will be the first show I attend in Asia in 2022.
