Good Harbor: Dalton Sim, Ben Levin Start New Management Company With Clients Father John Misty, Fun., Dispatch, More



Artist managers Dalton Sim and Ben Levin have started the Good Harbor artist management company, with offices in Boston, Northampton and Los Angeles and clients including Fun., Father John Misty, Dispatch, and many others.

Sim spent 15 years with Terry McBride’s Nettwerk Management, joining the company with longtime client Guster at the time.  Sim and Levin retain their staff and roster. 
“I am very excited to start 2020 creating a new stand alone independent company to focus on the future of artist management at the highest level for the next decade and beyond,” Sim says in a statement. “Terry McBride’s support of this decision and his belief in my artist roster and business throughout the years means the absolute world to me. With the constantly changing landscape of artists career’s now felt like the perfect moment to launch a new management company that is uniquely positioned to continue to create long term sustainable careers through the evolving direct relationships artist have with their fans. Good Harbor will be able to provide artist services to support each artists unique path whether it’s completely independent or supported with partners.” The announcement says the parting with Nettwerk is amicable. 
Levin joined Nettwerk in 2017, after 14 years with TMM as part of Wilco’s management team, according to a Nettwerk press release at the time, bringing Lucius, Aoife O’Donovan, I’m With Her, joe Visciano and others.
