Green Day, Fall Out Boy & Weezer Confirm 2021 Routing For ‘The Hella Mega Tour’

The Hella Mega
– The Hella Mega Tour

Green Day, Fall Out Boy and Weezer are hella hitting the road together this summer. That’s right – the long-awaited team-up is finally happening, with stadiums set to host the rock stars starting in July.

“The Hella Mega” tour was pushed back a year after COVID-19 brought live events to a halt, with the rescheduled North American portion of the tour initially announced in July 2020.
The 2021 routing has now been finalized, kicking off July 24 at Globe Live Field in Dallas.
Gigs at San Diego’s PetCo Park, Seattle’s T Mobile Park, Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium and San Francisco’s Oracle Park have been moved to the end of the itinerary in late August and early September. Current tickets will be valid for the new dates. Emails will be sent out to ticketholders for these four shows with refund options for fans who can’t make the rescheduled dates.
New shows have been added in Columbus, Ohio, (Aug. 17 at Historic Crew Stadium) and Milwaukee (Sept. 1 at Summerfest). Tickets for both dates go on sale Friday, May 21.

To go along with today’s announcement, Green Day has released a new song, “Pollyanna.” Last week Weezer released its latest single, “All My Favorite Songs” (featuring AJR) and performed on “All The Good Ones” from the band’s brand new album, Van Weezer, on “The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.” See below for the video.
Fall Out Boy will perform on the season finale of “American Idol” on May 23 at 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
All three acts will appear on Good Morning America’s Summer Concert Series on July 17, with Weezer and Fall Out Boy performing and Green Day joining the program for an interview.

The European portion of the “Hella Mega” tour was moved to June-July 2022.

Reports submitted to Pollstar’s Boxoffice department for Weezer include an April 9, 2019, co-bill show with Pixies at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, Calif., that sold 8,364 tickets and grossed $450,776.
The most recent report submitted for Fall Out Boy was an Oct. 10, 2018 show at Smoothie King Center in New Orleans that sold 5,063 tickets and grossed $278,414.
Green Day’s 2017 tour in support of the band’s 12th studio album, Revolution Road, included an Aug. 24 show at Wrigley Field in Chicago that sold 32,491 tickets and grossed more than $1.9 million.
