LIVE75 was created to chart what is happening right now in the concert business, and right now live activity around the world is at the best minimal, if it’s happening at all. Thus, Pollstar announces that, after the publication of this week’s chart, LIVE75 will temporarily go on hiatus until the concert industry begins rebounding and box office reporting resumes on a larger scale.
With so few events reported during the most recent time period of eligibility, there are only 29 tours ranked on the current chart. We will return as soon as possible with our weekly spotlight on the 75 hottest active tours worldwide.
This week LIVE75 spotlights Post Malone who has held the No. 1 position more than any other act this year, topping the chart four times. This week marks his fifth as he heads up the latest list of touring artists based on sales from his “Runaway” tour that continued through March 12 before postponement due to the coronavirus pandemic.
His shows at arenas in Greensboro, N.C., Duluth, Ga., and Nashville at the beginning of March produced a ticket average of 12,510 to claim the top spot, surpassing The Lumineers at No. 2 by only 315 tickets.
Earning HOT SHOT status as the highest debut of the week is Halsey, entering the mix at No. 5 with an average of 10,218 sold seats from four shows. The concerts were the final four dates on the European leg of her “Manic” world tour that stretched through March 12.

Celine Dion is the HEAVY HITTER, designating the artist with the highest average gross on the chart, with an average gross of $1,889,476. Macy Gray is the BREAKTHROUGH artist,  the active tour showing a ticket sales breakthrough by packing the house, and Tommy Castro & The Painkillers is crowned NOISE MAKER, the active tour with biggest positive chart gain from previous week.
