Hanson Shout It Out In Canada

Hanson is headed to the provinces in January for more than a dozen dates.

The Canadian tour is the latest adventure in the brothers’ “Shout It Out World Tour.” Earlier this month the pop rock trio played shows in Brazil, Argentina and Chile. On Friday Hanson performs in Amsterdam, Netherlands, followed by November gigs in Italy, France and the United Kingdom.

Next month Hanson will play a few holiday radio shows with sets at in Indianapolis (Dec. 1) and in Fort Myers, Fla. (Dec. 4).

The Canadian leg kicks off Jan. 23 in Vancouver, British Columbia, at The Vogue Theatre, and wraps up Feb. 11 in Montreal at the Corona Theatre.

Additional stops include Kelowna, British Columbia (Jan. 24); Sherwood Park, Alberta (Jan. 27); Calgary Alberta (Jan. 28); Nelson, British Columbia (Jan. 29); Winnipeg, Manitoba (Feb. 3); Thunder Bay, Ontario (Feb. 4); Ottawa (Feb. 8); Belleville, Ontario (Feb. 9); and Toronto (Feb. 10).

“This tour will be the most extensive Canadian tour we’ve done to date. We’re excited to visit many parts of the country for the first time, and make Canada a part of our world tour,” singer/drummer Zac Hanson said in a statement.

Hanson has also rescheduled a few dates from the band’s U.S. “Musical Ride Tour” which were called off earlier this year because of illness. The new dates are Clifton Park, N.Y., at Northern Lights Feb. 14, and Pittsburgh’s Carnegie Music Hall Feb. 15. The group has also added a show in Sayreville, N.J., at Starland Ballroom Feb. 16.

Tickets for the Canadian leg as well as the Sayreville show go on sale to the public Friday. The only exceptions are the Sherwood Park and Calgary shows, which are on sale now.

Tickets from the postponed Pittsburgh show will be honored at the new date. The Albany and Pittsburgh shows are on sale now.
