Industry veteran John Aikin returns from retirement to join the newly formed Beat The Street USA Inc.
Aikin retired last year from Senators Coaches, where he was executive vice-president. He worked for the company for 35 years, cultivating new business and contributing to the design of tour buses for a roster of A-list clients in the entertainment industry.
Aikin will appear with Beat The Street later this month at the first official viewing of the company’s new double-decker bus at key industry events, including at a special launch in Nashville, Jan. 29, and at Pollstar Live!, Feb. 3-7.

The buses will be on U.S. roads this January
Beat The Street owner and managing director Joerg Philipp said, “John’s experience in the North American entertainer luxury coach industry will be invaluable to help get us established here.”
Akin said, “Joerg and I have known each other and met at industry events many times. I even persuaded him to run a marathon with me,” which is a reference to Aikin’s love of marathons – he ran his 100th marathon in 2019.
“I am looking forward to helping him develop his US business and introducing his team and the company to the US market,” he added.
