Injured Ed Sheeran Cancels Asia Dates

Following a bicycle accident that injured the ginger-haired star’s arm, Ed Sheeran has canceled some Asia concert dates saying, “I’m waiting to see how the healing progresses before we have to decide on shows beyond that.”

“Please stay tuned for more details. PS – Ed isn’t typing this as he has both arms casted/bandaged,” the social media post continues.

The singer, who currently has just under 100 dates on his current tour schedule on the “Divide” tour taking him clear to the end of 2018, said Monday he’d had “a bit of a bicycle accident” and is “currently waiting on some medical advice, which may affect some of my upcoming shows.”
Sheeran was scheduled to perform a series of shows in Asia starting on Oct. 22 in Taipei, Taiwan.
Markets affected so far include Taipei, Osaka, Seoul, Tokyo and Hong Kong, according to Sheeran’s post.
That suggests he’s still hopeful for Asian dates after that, including the Philippines, Jakarta, Singapore, Thailand, India, and Dubai.
