The band will warm up for the tour with a gig opening for The Police at Miami’s Dolphin Stadium on July 10 and a special acoustic show at the city’s Studio A on July 11.

The North American leg launches September 29 at The Palace Of Auburn Hills in Michigan, and runs through the middle of November. Stops on the schedule include the Allstate Arena near Chicago (October 2), New York’s Madison Square Garden (October 10), the TD Banknorth Garden in Boston (October 15), the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa, Fla. (October 21), Pepsi Center in Denver (October 29), the PNE / Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver, B.C. (Novermber 3), and the Staples Center in Los Angeles (November 8). The band will finish out the first part of the tour in style November 10 at The Pearl Concert Theater at The Palms Casino in Las Vegas.

Openers for North American shows include The Hives, Sara Bareilles, Kevin Michael and Phantom Planet.

The U.K./European portion of Maroon 5’s world tour kicks off November 25 at the Nottingham Arena and includes stops in France, The Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy.

For their world tour, the members of Maroon 5 have decided to join the growing ranks of artists who are attempting to reduce the carbon footprint massive tours leave on the environment. The band is partnering with climate change organization Global Cool to make the entire production carbon neutral.
